Corel Your Way
It has been reported in the Corel X3 newsgroup that Corel is inviting some users to participate in Corel Your Way, which is a type of survey apparently.
Has anyone had such a communication?
After many enquiries, trying to be included, I was first told this closed 3 years ago an then received the following message:
"We have discussed this with our PR department. They are not aware of such promotion here in the EMEA.
This is from the US/ Canadian department.
We have no information about this nor can we give any.
Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind regards,
Wijnanda
Corel Support"
I never receive any emails from Corel, promotional or otherwise, although my account is up to date and all the right boxes have been ticked for years. (I check quite regularly)
I have queried this and was told that the relevant boxes were not ticked.
Perhaps customers outside the US/Canada don't count?
Can anyone from Corel throw some light on this, I would love to know why I can't join.

Re: Corel Your Way
I received an email about this last year. So I don't know what they're talking about 3 years ago. But I am in the US and I haven't questioned them on whom they allow or where the other people are from. Originally it was only surveys. They have only recently opened up a forum on the site as well that's kind of primitive but it works.

Waiting for a response from Corel US/Canada takes a tad longer by the looks of it.
Maybe it's all hype (marketing) and no substance?
I sometimes, nay, often, feel that being a loyal customer and supporter of PSP is not much appreciated

Rant over (for now)..

Looks like you have to have some kind of invitation to join-no method for registering directly.

Re: Corel Your Way
Hi Joelle, aafuss & Tadjio,
My name is Lucas, I'm a member of the Marketing Research team at Corel, and one of the moderators of Corel Your Way research community.
Corel Your Way is a customer research community we launched in March 2010. The initiative was launched to provide our customers with a platform to participate in surveys, voice feedback, submit feature requests, evaluate new product ideas, participate in beta testing, and most recently we added a community discussion module that allows our customers to interact with each other and participate in product discussions in a forum setting similar to the User to User Web Board.
We would love to extend the invitation to all members of the User to User Web Board. The terms and conditions to participate in the Corel Your Way research community will soon be updated by our legal team and this will allow us to extend invitations to countries outside North America.
Our goal is to ensure all Corel customers have a chance to voice feedback and opinions through the Corel Your Way community. We do appreciate how loyal our customers are and we truly value everyone's willingness to help improve our products. The feedback we receive through the Corel Your Way community has a direct influence on product development.
Please don't hesitate to send me a PM with your name and email and I'll be sure to include your contact details in the next wave of Corel Your Way invitations going out this month.
Thanks for your support,
Lucas
