VideoStudio 9 breaks Windows Media Center Edition 2005

I have tried installing VideoStudio 9 upgrade several times and every time after installation I cannot watch TV or playback recordings (.dvr-ms) using Media Center or Windows Media Player. If you roll back the installation using Windows' system restore funtion, Media Center works fine again.

I have contacted Ulead tech support but have yet to receive a reply. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

FYI I have an Elonex Lumina Windows Media Center Edition 2005 SP2, Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Tuner.

I've just noticed that as well as system restore, normal uninstalling of VideoStudio also fixes Windows Media Center.
