Can't install my ez-dub

Post by starfish6340 »

Hi, my name is Christina and I am trying to install my ez-dub on my laptop. When I try to install it, it says I don't have enough space. It only requires 640MB and I have 4.48GB free on my C Drive, 44.0GB free on my D drive, and 172GB free on my external drive. I have tried to install it in all the drives and always get the same message. Can someone please help me? I greatly appreciate any help I can get. I love my ez-dub and really need it to be working. :(

Welcome to the forums,

Is this the Lite-on Burner or some software program? Doing a quick search shows it to be a burner.

I still can't get it to install. :( I have deleted temporary files in windows of all that didn't say they were being used and did a cleanup on my whole system to still not be able to install it. I can't believe this is happening because this is the easiest and quickest burner I have ever used. It is a Liteon Ez-Dub. I am using Windows XP Home Edition, my program files are on my C drive which has 4.34 GB free space, D drive has 44.0 GB free space, and I even tried my external drive which has 172 GB free space. I have done all the researching I can think of and have been emailing for help, but haven't received any yet.

I think you need to contact LiteOn Support..
http://us.liteonit.com/us/index.php?opt ... Itemid=186

I have no idea why you're having this problem. Is this an internal or external drive? If it is an internal drive do you have the cables plugged in correctly? If it is an external drive, how does it connect to your PC?

Is the software you're trying to install rated to run on the OS your running? If you're trying to install it via the CD or DVD, have you tried to copy the files to your hard drive and run it from there?

Since you are having this degree of problems, I recommend telephoning or getting on live chat with LiteOn support.

If it is an internal drive, has it been set up correctly as either a master or slave drive? That would need adjustment of the jumpers at the back of the drive unit...
