LiteOn DVD drive not supported

I'm going to assume my LiteON DVD writer is not supported. When I put in a blank disk, MF tells me it's not blank. So I'm writing to disk, I think. Only I'm not sure what files I need to write to DVD if I use Nero? I just want it to play on any DVD player.

Any advice or what to create and then what to burn?
