HI
I have searched, but cannot find any referance to my problem.
I cannot figure out how to delete thumbnails from the librarys.
When I right clic on the thumbnail, DELETE is greyed out, when I select the thumbnail and hit DELETE on the key board, also does not work.
Just recently upgraded to X3, and love it.
Thanks for any help, BUG-EYED

Hi
Some pages do not allow deletion.
You can delete thumbnails from the video, image , audio, titles library pages
Can you confirm which library pages you are referring to.?
There is a Library Manager via Settings that will allow you to reset the library, this will revert to its default state

Hello BUG-EYED,
I'm glad you love the program and about your concern if you are referring to the files under the Windows Media Library, then you cannot delete these files.
"If you are using the Windows 7 or Windows Vista operating system, Corel VideoStudio Pro automatically synchronizes with your media library during program startup. The library content cannot be modified from within Corel VideoStudio Pro. Instead, you must use the features that are associated with your operating system."

Thanks Abiel.
I'll creat my own librarys using the "library organizer", which I will be able to delete thumbnails as needed.
The instructions says you can "drag and drop" clips into librarys with Windows, haven't figured out how to do that though.

Hi
Library options
Video Studio X2 -- X3 has the option to export the library, this creates a backup saved to your hard drive.
You can then import the library should you wish to revert to it.
There is also the option to reset the library, this reverts the library to its default state. (As Installed)
Goto—Settings -- Library Manager.
Importing clips to the library
The (add) icon adjacent to the library name will open a window allowing you to import your clips. This is the normal approach.
Using Windows Explorer
Open a folder containing your files, select the files using the standard windows mouse options (Shift+Click) drag the first selected clip to the library.
The clips selected have to be the same type as the library, that is Images to the Photo library, video clips to the video library otherwise VS will show an error/warning.

Thanks TREVOR
I like the "drag & drop", as my folders have a mixture of video and pictures.
