I captured in HD, edited in Video Studio X3 then output to MPEG using same settings as video files. I then gave up trying to burn using Movie Factory Pro 7se as it kept crashing during render so I used DVD Flick. the resulting DVD seems fine apart from when the camera pans and the video appears to be a little blurry. Any stills or slow panning are perfect.
I read a similar post which suggested dropping the bit rate from 9000kbps to 8000kbps but that just made the video look awful.
Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Blurry panning on DVD
Does the MPEG-2 file, when viewed in VS or some other player like Windows Media Player, show the same blurriness, or is it just on the DVD?
If it's just on the DVD you won't find help here. This is a Corel forum, for Corel products.

Hi
Can you provide the captured/original video files properties?
From the timeline, right click a clip and select properties, what are they?
Your description of the camera pans may suggest a field order problem.
Once you have created a compliant video file Burning using DVD Movie Factory 7 should not render the main video, the only create being to create the menus.
If it is indeed rendering the main video file then some settings are incorrect.
What are you trying to make?
As your original video is HD I assume you are burning HD (AVCHD/Bluray)
Or are you trying to burn a standard DVD.?

It would also be extremely useful ti know what your computer set-up is -- that is why we ask for those details during the registration process. I ask because in the main people who have trouble with MF7 SE crashing seem to be those who have new i7 processors in their computers. And the way to avoid the problem is to first disable hyperthreading in the system BIOS before using VS/MF.
