WinDVD 5 License Key number

My computer crashed two weeks ago and now it is up and running once again. I am trying reactive WinDVD 5. Yes I know it is old but it suites my needs. I do not have the License Key number. It was installed on my system buy Best Buy. Does anyone happen to the License Key Number? Also it the same for all WinDVD5 or is different for every user?

Your PC should have included either a recovery CD or a recovery partition on the hard drive. Back up your data and media files to an external hard drive or burn to an optical disc, then run the recovery module. Assuming WinDVD 5 was original bundled software, it should be restored.

And usually, the serial number is different for each user... That is why they are called 'serial'...

If your WinDVD 5 was preinstalled with your computer, you will need to use the restore disc in order to reinstall the program. If the program is still asking for a serial number, you will need contact the customer support of your computer manufacturer to help you in installing the WinDVD 5.
