Got a brand new Macbook Pro for Christmas; it is quick, stable and the colors it produces are superb. I only have one problem, I cannot run Photo Impact on the MAC OS. It really gets to me now as no other software does the things like Photo Impact as easy as 123.
I tried learning other MAC Graphic Design/Web Design Softwares such as Gimp, Pixelator,Drawberry, but it is not as easy.
I guess I have been using photo impact too long.
Do you think I am lazy because I am reluctant to learn other graphic/webdesign softwares?
What you do in Photo Impact in a Zap it will take you 4 or more steps to get it completed in other major web/graphic softwares.
For the Omteenth time, why was Photo Impact Discontinued?
I believe Pixelator is cool but the learning curve is steep.
Do you think I am Lazy??

PhotoImpact is being phased out by Corel.
Over in PIRC forum a number of the die hard PIX3 users are learning PaintShop Pro. You can purchase PSPX3 for Mac.
An alternative would be to install a windows version on your MAC so you can the run PIX3. Good luck!

Hello pMedia,
Unfortunately Photoimpact is not compatible with mac, that is also the same with PSP X3. However, if you can use Bootcamp in order for you to install Windows OS on your computer, you can then install PhotoImpact and other Windows OS software on your computer. You can visit http://www.apple.com/macosx/compatibility/ for more information on how you can install Windows on your Mac.

Re: Do you think I am Lazy??
I forgot to mention that I did install boot camp which and I have tried parallel desktop and VM fusion and even wineskin. Boot camp is the smoothest when it comes to running photo impact but why buy a MAC to run WIndows?
