Please can anyone help I have purchased the above to use as a plugin in Paintshop prox2 and I have treid every which way and can not get the PSP to see it I have tried in the default folder the one in my documents, and ensure that the plug in file location is correct but still nothing. I have a call out to Autofx but they are not responding have also left them a voicemail. Does anyone else have this program as a plugin?? Hello Debraj,
You can go to File > Preferences > File Locations > Plug-ins. Then in the File Locations menu, click the “Add” button, locate the Dreamsuite from Auto FX folder then press OK.
Another thing... If you install PSP X2 on a Windows 7, that can be a factor in your problem. Since PSP X2 is not compatible with Windows 7. You can visit http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 4516325170, to know which version of the Corel Software is compatible with Windows 7.
There is a workaround for you to make old program works on Windows 7, however we cannot assure you this is a 100% fool proof. You can use the Windows 7 Program Compatibility and the Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC, which are both from Microsoft.
You can follow the steps for Windows 7 Program Compatibility from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... of-Windows
You can download and install the Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtua ... nload.aspx.
You also want to consider upgrading your Corel software, since the latest version of Paintshop Pro is full compatible with Windows 7, you can download the 30 day full working trial at http://www.corel.com/trials.

FWIW this plug-in doesn't work for me on PSP X3 either. Since I added the plug-in after Patch #3, I can't say for certain Patch #3 caused the problem but it might have since it created other plug-in related issues for me.

Re: Dreamsuite from Auto FX as a Plugin
Hi,
Excuse me for butting in. I have PSP9, PSPX2U and PSPX3U here. I'm running WIndows 7 HP 64 bit. I recently purchased AutoFX Bundle which includes Dream Suite. The first time I installed, I sent it into my plugins folder like normal. It didn't work. I uninstalled it. When I installed it again, I let it install where it wanted to. I read somewhere that it copies the 8bf file into the proper plugin folders. Well, it still wouldn't work. I then search for and found the 8bf file and fuond it in my version 9 folder (not the plugin folder)....for some reason that was the only place it put it. I didn't want it there as I don't use version 9. I moved it into my main plugin folder and it now works as it should in all versions. I did the same when I installed the rest of the bundle.
