Welcome to the forums,

Try updating your MS DirectX. It seems to fix various issues with VS.

I have the exact same problem with the Boxed version which I received today. I also tried the TBYB version with the same lack of success. I updated Direct X with the same failure. I looked at the install log and saw no errors. The second to last line said Load Dialog: E:\Lang\EN\Custom\License.htm. This in the screen that should display the license but there is nothing there.

Please don't double post, as it only causes confusion. Case in point, I answered you other post telling you to update your DirectX, but in this post you say you have already done it.

Please contact Corel Tech Support.

Sorry for the double post, but I was getting desperate for some help.

I called tech support and found a solution for me. I had to sign on with my backup admin account and it installed right away. Apparently my normal admin account has some issues. It may have to do with Active X permissions or scripting permissions. So I will probably create a new user acct.
