Hi,
I just purchased a Canon Rebel T2i and have the taken some pictures using the raw format. When I import them from the card and then tried to see them in my PSP x2 Ultimate version 12.50 the raw images show up as pink rectangles that appear to be just the first 7th or so of the image. Basically if you look at the same image, as the T2i can take both a raw version and a large high quality jpeg of the same image, what you can sort of see behind the pink tint over the portion of the image is the first 1/7 of the image if you split the total image into 7th from left to right. Please forgive my ignorance if I am just not doing something correct, I am new to this whole raw image thing. The format is .cr2. They are 5148 x 3456 @ 72dpi images. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a similar Canon camera.
Canon's RAW editor Digital Photo Professional, which comes on the CD with the camera, is excellent.
Don't use the PSPPX3 RAW utitlity, it's terrible, as you have already found out.
Install DPP and use that, you won't regret it.

I can only agree with Joelle's sentiment. Corel (and any other software developer) has to reverse engineer the way a RAW file is written, apparently per camera model, and to me that's a lost cause. Canon's DPP is actually a pretty good tool and I use it all the time.

This tutorial is a great start. One of the bonuses is that you can change things rather quickly and even automatically or leave them as you've shot them. No third party software does this to my knowledge. They can all do certain things automatically but none of them will show up the way you shot in camera (i.e. if you shot in black and white it stays black and white). Picture styles can also be added from other sources as well.

Hello lxaio655,
Unfortunately Canon Rebel T2i raw files are not supported by PSP X2 Ultimate. But PSP X3 fully supports raw file of Canon Rebel T2i.
Here are some information on the Supporte Raw files of both the PSP X2 Ultimate and PSP X3

I can only agree with Joelle and df.
I have had several of the Canon Rebel series cameras and tried Corel's Raw processing in PSP XI, X2 and X3
but always return to Canon's own DPP software, which is improving all the time. (Current version is 3.9.3).
