Importing Mp3 into MF5
I'm running DVD MF5 for Toshiba and I am trying to use an MP3 music file in the main menu which is longer than 30 seconds. I see from previous posts that others also want to have more than 30 seconds of music before it loops and repeats. Is there a hack for this? Is there another program which is free without a time limit for music in the menu?
Re: Importing Mp3 into MF5
I don't use Movie Factory anymore, but I don't think there's any way around the 30 second limit.
Maybe someone can comment on Movie Factory 7, or you can download the free trial... I haven't tried MF7 myself, as I have "moved on" to DVD-Lab ($100 - $250 USD) which doesn't have these kinds of "artificial" limitations. (It also doesn't have all of the features or ease-of-use of Movie Factory.)

DVDStyler (FREE!!!) doesn't have these kind of limits either, but again it's not as user-friendly as Movie Factory and it has it's set of other limitations. Is there another program which is free without a time limit for music in the menu?

Re: Importing Mp3 into MF5
Hello mbfein,
If the DVD MF5 came preinstalled that means that its an OEM version which has limited features than the full version. Also as far as I know the DVD MF7 supports Mp3, so I strongly suggest that you try the DVD MF7 to see if it that's the program that you need. You can download the trial version from http://www.corel.com/trials.

Re: Importing Mp3 into MF5
While yes, DVDMF 7 Pro does support MP3, the 30-sec limit is still there, which is what MBfein is really wanting to overcome. Personally though, I don't know why anyone wants a menu that plays longer than that anyway. I've never sat and watched a menu. I go to the menu, find what it is I want to watch and go to that part of the video.
