I am using a Sony GV-HD700 deck to dump tape to X3. The tapes are being captured as DV1 so an .AVI file. The file has a display aspect ration of 16x9 but the picture size is 720x480. Is there a way to control the dar in x3 so that I can capture in 4:3 and match up the aspect ratio correctly with the picture size? there is no way to do this on the sony deck. it is slaved to x3.
