Hello,
I've created a Video Studio 8 project with numerous subtitles that line up with their related videos.
Foolishly, I waited until the end to create a main title still image and title wording that now need to be inserted at the beginning of the time line.
Is there a way to insert the image and title at the beginning so that all the subsequent subtitles will automatically shift to stay aligned with their related videos, or do I have to do that manually?
Thanks,
Bill

Yes, but not with VS 8, I'm afraid.
The feature is called Ripple Edit and did not appear until about VS10 IIRC...

Darn. Well, thanks anyway. I'll just have to do a better job of planning ahead in the future.

Actually, once I got into it, it wasn't that bad.
I started by clicking "Fit Project in Time Line." Then, I used CTRL + SHIFT to select all the events on a row, such as the subtitles or the audio segments. Then, I moved them all at once, so their relative positions remained the same.
Finally, I checked clips for whom I knew how the elements should fall, and tweaked as necessary to line everything up.
Not the easiest approach, but do-able.

Glad to see that it worked out easier than expected.
Just one version newer (VS 9) and you would have had Ripple Editing..
