Installation error 130:uvGGPL.exe

Post by nepsa »

I get this installation error when installing pro x3. It happens near the end when it is working with SmartSound Ouicktracks.
The system kept crashing so I removed it and reinstalled Pro x3 and the same error message appeared, HOWEVER, the program appears to be working just fine. My question , did I install the entire software and do do i really need SmartSound Quicktracks?

Also, my audio card driver went missing so I had to reload it. Some IDT audio had showed up and my audio was skipping alot, when I reloaded my Sigmatel High definition Audio driver it reverted back to it and my audio appears to be working .

Bottom line, I don't know if I am ok or not?

You only need Smartsound if you are going to use the Auto Music. It may be worth visiting the Smarsound website. In the past they have had fixes for VS. Don't know if there is one for X3.

Thanks, I will check it out. I just wanted to make sure I did not loose any other features after the error occurred.
