Does anyone know what this error means: Class ID: 49e287a8-df6a-4198-baaf-6a4c4dd2fba2
function ID 6
Line number 390?
I have burned several DVDs this past month then I started getting this error code last night. I tried different DVDs, rebooting...I have ruined atleast 8 DVDs this morning.
Does any know if this is an an error with Ulead PictureShow or my burner? I am still able to burn CD's.
I am new to this forum and I am desperate for help. I have 6 videos to do and tech support is closed for the Holidays.
Thanks,
Joan

Have you closed all other ongoing process including Antivirus and antispyware software, or internect connection? I found out for successfull DVD buring is right after you first boot up the computer then close any other processes running in the background then start up the Picture Show software. Try see if this works. make sure your free hard disk space has enough capacity.

Thank you for the advice.
When I click control/alt/delete the only thing running is PictureShow. Do I need to disable my antivirus software even though I am not online?
I have over 31 GB of free space on the drive I have PictureShow on. I was deperate so I bought a new burner tonight and have a video burning right now on that computer. I hope that takes care of the error. I have also tried reinstalling PictureShow.
PictureShow is new too me, I just purchased it in November. I am an Adobe Premiere user but I like the menus and being able to burn right from PictureShow. Do you know if it is possible to change transitions for different pictures or am I stuck with one default setting? Are you aware of any add on programs (like titledeko) that can create scrolling text over pictures?
I am also having trouble with the music not fading smoothly, It says to highlight the icon; but is it highlighted when it is white or blue? It sounds the same both ways to me.
Thanks!
Joan

It better to stop the antivirus software program.. I don't think the PictureShow has the capability of changiong transitions for different pictures. There are a number of choices of transition effects available to you in the Picture show. I do not have problems with the music not fading smoothly, so i Cannot offer you any advice there. I think you should check the manual with regard to all th options. Ulead offers a free template that you can ownload from their website.

Using what DVD PictureShow version?
Updated your DVD PictureShow with the latest patches from http://www.ulead.com/tech/dps/dps_ftp.htm ??
Have you installed the latest CD/DVD Burner Patch from http://www.ulead.com/tech/general/burning_engine.htm and http://www.ulead.com/tech/general/burning_pack.htm ??
Also please check if the disc media is compatible with your burner from http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters .
However, I would suggest to remove your DVD PictureShow and then install it again, then install all above patches to see if they fix the problem. Sometimes it's because something in the system has get dirty and to reinstall the program will fix it.
Hope this helps.
