I rely on the arrow keys to nudge images; I find it easier to be precise when using them rather than just using the mouse. But they don't work for vector objects, or at least I haven't figured out how to get them to work. Is there something I don't know? Has it always been this way, or is this another buggy thing about PSP X3?
Thanks,
Ellen

Re: Arrow keys will not nudge vector objects
There was actually a small discussion about this earlier, though I'm not going to go back and try to find it.
Essentially if you use the move tool, not the pick tool, you can nudge the vector around. I like this in the sense that you don't get the bounding box in your way. But for nudging with the arrow keys and having the arranging functions and transformation functions for vectors I still prefer to use the Object Selection tool.
The Object Selection Tool has become hidden in recent versions of Paint Shop Pro but its short-cut key is still active. It's the "O" key for Object. If you press that and select the object you want to nudge around and edit in some way you can do so very easily. Technically the Pick Tool was supposed to take over the functions of the Object Selection tool but it doesn't do a very good job.
I understand that you use to be able to nudge an object right after drawing it but you can only do that for certain vector objects now, and I don't remember which ones. So using the move tool or the Object Selection tool are the best methods for nudging with the arrow keys.
