I rendered a 7,25gig Sony-video in AVCHD(original file) 1920X1080,25frames,18000kb, upper frame first. About 1hr with beautiful quality, ... but
my LED tv samsung UE55C6700 with mediaplayer do not support AVCHD.
I am trying to convert, or re-render to MPEG4 : custom, MP4 MAIN PROFILE, with 1920X1080 and 25 frames.
It seems impossible with proX3. The only option = 30 frames
PS:the option 1280X720 ,25 fr, result in a crash, even with the batch conversion (smart render on-off)
Vista home totally updated until 19-1-2011 incl direct x, etc.
Is there somebody, somewhere whith a solution ,or the same problem ?

Hi
Have you considered using Bluray files rather than Avchd

Mr Trevor,
indeed i tried the blue ray options in all their beauty, but it gives huge files, and Samsung did not detect the m2ts stream file!
after a lot of attempts, i changed a parameter in the save-options:
MP4,
H264 main ,1280X720,25 frames
the "upper frame" with the option frame based . ( no influence for lcd and led sets)
No crash
7,25gig become 4,5 gig with an acceptable quality, above the dvd resolution.
Thanks anyway for your intervention.
