Recently we've been getting several posts regarding VS10SE that comes bundled with a capture device. The capture device in this case seems to be the EasyCap, and notice the spelling as it is very important.
The Easycap is knock-off from the real, original, legitimate capture device. It is very problematic, and most of the time VS10SE that is bundled with it will not work correctly. One of the latest posts, complained that the serial number for VS10SE provided with the capture device would not work. These are very cheap to purchase, and probably for a reason. Most people when they discover that they are more trouble than they paid, will just discard them. These knock-offs got to be so prevalent, that the company was forced to change their name and business trademark to EzCap.
These are the legitimate capture devices and VideoStudio is not bundled with them, instead ArcSoft is bundled with them. So if you are having a problem with VS10SE and it came with the first mentioned (EasyCap), you're basically on your own. There's simply nothing we can do, aside from editing questions with VS10SE.
Trevor has provided a tutorial about the capture devices. You can read about them through the following link:

We'll stop you right there. Due to piracy, the company have changed their name from easycap to ezcap™. If you have just purchased a new easycap, You have bought a fake. You get what you pay for. Below is some of the most popular "easycap" questions we are asked.

D'ho! Can't believe that Amazon is still selling it:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B003GLB ... ss_product
Also bought this device but having Audio problems (Video capture works, bot no Audio).
Would be interesting what Amazon says about that case ...

Re: EasyCap or EzCap?
I doubt Amazon will do much of anything about it. When your talking about countries that condone this sort of practice, there's not much that can be done. If so I think that the actual creator of the device would have, don't you??
