I run PSP X successfully in Windows 7, but I have a couple problems...
1) It will only display the DEFAULT printer (I have three printers I use from PSP X).
2) I can't install patches ("the upgrade patch cannot be installed....")
Any help? (an upgrade to PSP X3 is a solution I'd prefer to avoid if possible).
Thanks.

Re: PSP X in compatibility mode (Windows 7)...
I was able to install two updates by switching to the ADMINISTRATOR account, but had to start with 2 then 3 (it wouldn't let me install the first patch). I had tried installing the updates from a 'user' account 'as administrator' but that didn't work.
After the patches, the printer problem is the same, but hey, I have the updates in, and it's still working. That's the most important part. But still would like to get all printers show up.

As well as the patches that you've installed there is one more. (http://corel.custhelp.com/app/answers/d ... _id/760272). It will update you to 10.10, which will fix some Vista/7 compatibility issues... but unfortunately not the missing "Printers" button from the Print dialogue box.
I haven't heard of any solution to that. The only workaround is to temporarily change the Windows default printer. There are utilities which allow you to quickly change default printers from a system tray icon. One from Microsoft, which dates back to Windows 2000 but runs fine with newer versions, is described at http://www.watchingthenet.com/change-de ... ndows.html.

I went ahead and purchased X3.
