Help!? VS9 DV Capture OK ... DV Recording (Output) CRASHES.

Hi all, new to this board, but already impressed with the combined intellectual resource :) ... Here's my problem with VS 9:

System Config: P4 2.8Ghz Hyperthread, 2Gb RAM, Radeon 9200, SATA 160Gb HDD, Win XP SP2, Echo Layla96 sound module, Creative Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor.

1. Originally used VS 8SE which was shipped with Creative's new box (which btw, only supports a proprietary version of VS 8SE for Capture)

2. Bought upgrade VS 9 for editing and rendering to DV, DVDs, etc. and it works perfectly. Also works perfectly if I capture from DV Cam thru PC's firewire port and not thru Creative's box.

BUT, VS 9 consistently wants to terminate itself when I want to send a file back out to the DV Cam; with the following error window ...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: ...am Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 9.0\vstudio.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've read in this board about the Installer versions and such, but don't think this is related, as I do not have the Installer installed in the first place, etc. HELP Please!!!

Thanks guys.

Scanned all posts. Look like no one has a similar experience.

Guess I may have to resort to a total regen of XP Pro to see if it also solves other inexplicable crashes / unexpected program exits.

Tks to all.
