Installation Problem

I am trying to install the trial version of VideoStudio 9.0. The installation progresses normally until nearly complete, then the screen blacks out with only the cursor visible. Checking the task manager indicates that InstallShield is not responding.

A desktop icon for the program appears, and when clicked, opens the menu that lets you choose between creating a direct from dv to dvd project, movie wizard, etc. However, when any of these buttons are clicked, an error appears stating "Codec TrialActivation has a serious error."

Please advise, I've been attempting to install for some time now.

Turn off your Screen Saver, Firewall and Anti-virus Protection before you try another install.
