Crop tool

When I select the crop tool, the last crop that I used shows on the image. I don't want that to happen. Is there a way to keep the crop box from showing on the image when I select the crop tool? It didn't work that way in PSP 10.

File->Preferences->General Program Preferences

Under Transparency and Shading

There is a checkbox for automatically showing the crop rectangle. Turn that off and it won't automatically show up, you will just have to draw it yourself if you want to see it.

Coincidentally, I discovered this information in the Corel help files just as the notification of your post came in. Nonetheless, thank you! Sorry to have made an unnecessary post!

Not only have I gotten rid of the default crop box, but I have also gotten rid of the floating toolbar, which was just an annoyance to me.
