So I take all this time to make up three chapters of this wedding and save the VSP files. I then want to turn these into one movie disk like I used to do. However the newest version of the software does not have the ability to read the files I just made???? Suggestions anyone?
MovieFactory v7 Pro 7.00.398.2
Video Studio 13.6.2.69

The title of your post says Moviemaker, but your image refers to MovieFactory. No worry, as neither will accept a vsp file. You must first convert (Share > Create Video File) that vsp into a DVD compliant MPEG-2 file, then import that into the burning module.

With DVD MovieFactory 7 SE or Pro, they will not accept VS X3 VSP files, since this version of MovieFactory was released before VS X3 was thought of.

Yes but those of us who having been using VideoStudio for a few years now have for a long time recommended that you do not do that - it gives rise to various problems and sometimes a reduction in final image quality.Beltran wrote:In the old version you used to be able to string together these completed .vsp files... now we can't?
It has been our recommendation for some years that when you have finished editing in VideoStudio you go to 'Share >> Create Video File' and create a DVD compliant mpeg which you then import to the burning module/movie factory/ any DVD authoring software and do not use the .vsp or any images which are already in the burning module timeline when you open it.
