How do I create multiple titles and chapters for Photoes? For example, I have 1000 photoes for last 2 years. I want to create two titles with 10 chapters each and each chapter will have 50 photoes. Can i do it?

Sure. If you want two titles then you will make two separate projects, each containing 500 pics.

After you are finished editing create a MPEG-2 video file for each project. Then, with a clear timeline, you will go to Share > Create Disc. From there you will insert your two video files. These will be your two titles. At this point you will create your chapters.

Since you were talking about creating chapters I assumed you were outputting to DVD. Am I incorrect in my assumption?

Yes, I am talking about out put on DBD/ Blu ray. I have photo folders since 2005, one for each year. I want to create a title for each year, which includes multiple folders (upto 20) and want to burn on blu ray DVD.

You started out wanting two titles and now that has changed to one for each year since 2005 - so is that 6 titles now.

do this - put all your photos for one year in the time line - continuously - insert any transitions , music, main title, sub-titles, narration etc you want - go to 'Share >> Create Video File and render out a compliant mpeg

Repeat that process for each year until you have 6 mpeg files.

Open DVD Movie Factory (free with your VS X3) and import all 6 mpegs into the timeline - you now have a DVD with 6 titles on the main page - now add as many chapters as you need to each video - which will create subpages off of each title - burn your DVD

Perhaps if you could explain exactly where you are having problems doing that we may be able to give more detailed information, your question and your responses are a little short so it is difficult to understand what problem you are having with this simple procedure.

Hi

The authoring program has limitations as to how many titles/chapters you can have per menu page. Once you hit the limit, it simply creates another page.

I have just viewed the bluray options and they are limited to 6 per page.

The same limitations will apply to chapter menu pages, but again additional pages will be created.

Rather than wasting a disc, first create a Bluray Folder, this will be saved to your hard drive allowing you to play the complete video.
