In any of the VS versions (7-9), is it possible to create a bunch of chapter menu items without the thumbnail? I'd use this for a music video where I'd like to link a list of songs. The thumbnail menu is kind of big and clumsy for several items and limits each chapter sub-menu to 6 items in VS SE. If VS9 can do this, I'd upgrade.
Thanks,
Dave

You can do it with DVD Workshop Express ($200).
I've copied several of my VHS concerts to DVD. Most of them have a multi-level text-button menu... The song title-text is the button. Sometimes I've used a little graphic "icon" next to the song title as the button. The main menu usually has 2-choices: Play Concert or Select Songs. I'll occasionally have a chapter-point without a menu-link in the middle of a song where a solo starts, or where the artist starts/stops talking, etc.
I've copied some VHS movies to DVD, and I've added a chapter every 10 minutes or so with no menu at all. This allows you to jump forward or back using the >>| and |<< buttons on the remote.
BTW - Too bad you don't have the full version of Video Studio, because if you did, you could get the Special Upgrade edition of Workshop Express for $150.
