Can't adjust playback speed in project view
I don't know why Corel made this program without the ability to change the playback speed in project view. You can only change the speed on each clip. When you have 50 or more clips, this can take all day, when it could take a few seconds if you can do it in project mode. How lame is that???

Re: Can't adjust playback speed in project view
If you want to change the playback speed of the entire project, start a new project and insert the vsp of the one you want to change. That "nested" vsp acts like a single video clip to which you can change the playback speed of the clip (i.e. your original project).

Re: Can't adjust playback speed in project view
(Another thing I thought of, but I don't have X3 on this machine to test it)
You don't say what version you are using, but X3 has the ability to copy all the attributes from one clip to others. I tried it using X2, but it wouldn't copy the change in playback speed. Maybe somebody can check to see if X3 allows it.

Playback speed can not be copied/pasted between clips, in VS X3.rkstudio wrote:No one knows???
Sorry I couldn't answer much sooner, but I was working on a project.

Re: Can't adjust playback speed in project view
Sorry, I'm using X3. So does this mean that I really can't speed up the project at once and I have to do it one clip at a time? I guess I'll have to do a lot less clipping which is going to limit my ability to get as creative as I would like to. I'm very disappointed with that.
But anyway, thank you for your responses.

There is no reason why you cannot change the playback speed before clipping your video while it is in one piece - then do you editing.

Thanks Brian,
I didn't think of that before. I'll start over and do that.

Re: Can't adjust playback speed in project view
Ok thanks. The thing I'm finding out that I'm doing wrong is clipping the video, editing out the parts that I don't want and then I wanted to change the playback speed of all those clips.
But now I know that I have to change the speed first and then do the clipping.
Thank you for your help!

Just to let you know I saw your point and have taken note. Very good suggestion.
