Remove fails when I try to delete maps that I don't want.

Hello,

I recently got photo express 2010.
The installation has put maps with pictures and other things in my media centre .
I have tried to remove them from photo express but got the messege that removing those maps and pictures has failed!
Is there a way to remove them after all?
Please help me!

Hello Joyce,

You can try reseting the Photo Express 2010 to its factory defaults. Just follow the steps from this KB article

I`m sorry, but it did not work
I have more then 5.000 pics from windows, and all kinds of programs on my computer in my mediacentre and that`s a lot.
Can`t even find my own pictures any more
I have tried to call the customer service but i can`t reach them!

Have you tried deleting the maps and pictures you do not want using Windows Explorer.

Your pictures etc. are not really *in* Photo Express - they are in folders on your hard drive and Photo Express just provides short cuts to them - you can get to them in various other ways - like Windows Explorer.

Hello !

I have followed your advices and it finaly worked!
I don`t know which tip worked cause i did both several times.
But it worked!
All the pics from my hard disk (from every programm an my computer) are gone from my photo express.

I've removed the maps Ulead systems (and that was great because i had an other programme that i wanted to remove but did`not work and that programm was also gone! ) and digital photo express 2010.
Then i restarted photo expres and al the pics where gone.
Photo express had put all my own pictures (those i do want on photo express) in the programm all over again!

So thank you very much both for your tips!
