Obviously that error message doesn't tell much. Neither do you. Please read the following and supply the requested info.

Did you send the dump file to Corel?

I am sorry to have to say that you still have not told us anything much more than your original post! :? We can see your immediate problem in the message. But we need to know more about the video you are editing. You say "Total Media Extreme" as the Properties, but that tells us nothing unless we too happen to have that program/hardware. Please right click on one of the files inside Video Studio -- either in the timeline or in the library window -- and copy ALL its Properties here please.

Please also describe exactly what you were doing by way of editing, and what you intend to do with the video -- e.g. burn it to DVD, Blu-Ray or what. (You say your output format is .m2ts or .ts, which may be correct, but I suspect that what you are talking about is the output format of the Hauppage device.)

Hoe did you capture the video from the Hauppage? It might seem obvious to you, but I -- and I suspect a lot of others here -- don't have that specific device, so we just don't know...

Even with basic information like this, there is some chance someone may be able to offer more advice...

This is in the library file properties. I am getting this error message popping up randomly when i insert this file to the TimeLine.

I think it should be the same in Win7 as in Vista... WIth VS running, bring up the Task Manager, go to the Processes Tab. Now locate vstudio.exe, right-click on it and select the Priorties option, and it should by default be set to normal. Try bumping up the priority to see if that helps with smoothing out your preview playback. There's even one option of Real Time.

However VS has a real problem with the 60fps (59.94fps), or 50fps for PAL. It just does not interpret those correctly. It will treat it as one-half of the actual rate. So the resultant preview or video will not be smooth.

... And as I just said in your other thread, Corel has been unable to provide an answer as to when they might be able to produce a patch or version which can deal properly with true 60 fps progressive video...
