Paint Shop 3 advertising states that it will create a photobook project.
That sounds brilliant.
But if I create a Photobook Project in Paint Shop 3 where could I get it printed since all the printers seem to insist that the books are created in their environment?
If I buy the Upgrade to Paint shop 3

First, to answer your questions, there is a special button for outputting to a professional printing service. And I believe they have their own or go through a specific place. Though I'm not sure what this place is as I never installed Project Creator on my system.
SecondPaint Shop Pro itself doesn't include functionality to make a photobook. It comes with a new software called Project Creator. And most people are in agreement that their project creator is still pretty limited in functionality.
I always suggest downloading the trial first. There are still a number of new bugs, as well as old ones, that you might not like. And I've not heard anything overly positive about creating Photobooks in the Project creator. So always try before you buy.
However, I wouldn't get Paint Shop Pro X3 for the photobook functionality. It's best to use other people's software for that. Especially since you're using extra software anyway. This gives you as much flexability in pricing and options as any service you want will allow.
Here's Corel's small intro video on the basics so judge for yourself. And do the trial.

Hello MikeZY56,
Yes, someone will print it for your professionally, but if you have a printer then you can always print it yourself. Though I'm not sure the name of the company that will print your photobook.

Re: If I buy the Upgrade to Paint shop 3
Well to try and find the OP and answer, I went through the process of creating a photobook. Then pressed the Order on Line button. It first goes through a conversion process, then connects to some server, and then uploads the files to .... some unknown place. The next screen is one to create an account or log-in to an existing account. To whom, I don't know. I decided to stop there. I'm not going to provide any information to a totally unknown source. Not a good thing Corel in these days of identity theft.

I understand Ron, I tried to clarify that as well but all I know it's a different company per region. No information on who will print the photo book.

I have my books printed at Mpix. I use PSP for most everything. As long as you create the pages to fit their guides you are fine.
