I have downloaded the Video Studio Pro X3 30day trial. But it won't install. It gets to the "Initializing installation Wizard” page and then a box comes up saying – “The current display resolution is lower than the standard of the installation. Please increase the display resolution and try again!”
My resolution was already set at the highest. I have changed it and other settings but it still keeps repeating this command and won’t install the software. I have Windows 7.
I have installed a previous version of Video Studio on a computer with Windows Vista and never had this problem. Does anyone have advice how to over come this problem?
I've installed 100's of trials and software and never had this problem before.
Thanks for any advice.

Hello michael_mac24,
VideoStudio requires at least 1024x768 resolution.
Please follow the procedure below to change the display resolution for Windows 7 from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... resolution then adjust it to 1024x768 resolution.

Re: Trial version of VS Pro X3!
What resolutions have you tried? I suspect they are all larger than the minimum required 1024 x 768. If so what graphics card are you using? Have you checked to see if there are any updates for your video card? I recall reading a post a couple days ago, where the graphics card, one of Nvidia's, for some reason was not compatible.

Re: Trial version of VS Pro X3!
Hi all, Thanks for the reply's.
First to Abiel's point - The resolution it was on a first was 1600 times 900 which should be enough, i've just been tweaking it a bit and no change!
Second point from Ron P, could be the cause as my graphics card is Nvidia Ge Force GT 330M - so perhaps this is the problem? Did anyone find why it was incompatible? Perhaps there was a solution?
