Levi, Levi, Levi.....you are way too hard on yourself. I have watched all of your videos and learned a lot. Even with features I thought I knew how to use I found myself saying either "good refresher" or "I didn't know it would do that." You knowledge about PSP and willingness to share are greatly appreciated.LeviFiction wrote:I've never made exciting videos. I tend to fall asleep watching them myself. But will be putting up more when I have the time and place to record them....so who knows.

Haha. Pdxrjt, I am never hard on myself. I never said they weren't good or useful, I said they weren't exciting.
Though I am continually surprised that people like the layers intro tutorial. I say practically nothing in that video, all while being long winded. XD

"Hey Ron P.",
Tell me the details on what you did to get this plug-in to work for you. I'm glad to hear it is working for you. I know you're excited.
Since I, too, have winXP, service pack 3, I would like to get this filter working for me. In fact, I thought I was having a problem with PSP, so I uninstalled and then reinstalled. Maybe after reinstalling PSP, this filter will work.

Re: Glass Effect
What I done to get it working in WinXP? Installed it, that's it. Worked the first time. On my laptop running Vista, I can not get it to work.

Hey Ron P.:
What do you mean by: "Worked the first time." Didn't it work for you a 2nd or 3rd time? Does it no longer work for you on XP?

Re: Glass Effect
No, I mean that it works, and done so from the very first time, had no problems with it on my WinXP machine. Maybe the fact that I have around 106 updates needed for my WinXP. I don't connect it to the internet, except for activation of programs and occasionally checking for specific updates. I'd hazard a guess that at least one of those 106 updates will cause problems with the plug-ins.

I have all the current updates for XP and are always connected to the internet. I agree and think you're right when you say, "I'd hazard a guess that at least one of those 106 updates will cause problems with the plug-ins."

Re: Glass Effect
The plugin is a self extracting file. Once it is unzipped, click on the Allkang.exe and choose a place to store the files. I have a Plugin folder and direct PSP and PI and even PS to that particular folder. One folder is sufficient.princess111 wrote:Hey Chevvyf1:
My version is X3. I went to http://www.pspug.org/tutorial/html/tutf ... dow_v7.htm and copied the files just as it said to do and this plug-in did not show up under the plug-ins. Does this not work with this version. It did not mention version X3 on their home page. I even added these folders under plug-ins in folder locations, so the software could find this plug-in.
Thanks
