Unable to enter serial number - text won't show up

I tried installing PSP until I got to this point:


I tried entering the serial number, but it won't take it. The text won't show up. Couldn't even change the user name. Why does this happen and how can this be resolved?!!

BTW, keyboard entry works on all other applications and softwares, but won't work on PSP installation window.

Do you have any relationship to the 'ttan' in the Username entry? If not, how did you obtain your copy of PSP?
