Re: Problems With DVDMF.exe
Sorry, but this is a user to user forum. None of us have any idea what such gobbledegook messages mean... except perhaps Abiel who is an Abiel Help person...
But apart from that, you have given us absolutely no useable information on which to base a sensible answer, apart from the fact that you are using MF 6. What video did you originally use? What did you edit it in? What format did you finally produce? How did you get it into MF 6? What if anything did you do to it in MF6? At which stage does MF 6 hang? Are you actually trying to burn a DVD, or instead prepare an ISO of DVD Folder of a DVD? If you used Video Studio along the way, which version did you use???
Get back to us with this type of information and hopefully someone will be able to help...

Re: Problems With DVDMF.exe
I have several video clips in AVI MP4 and WMV. I created a project to put them onto a dvd with chapters etc.. I attempted to create an image and then burn onto a disc. Movie Factory 6 hangs at 76% during the stage that its converting the videos. The prior post was the event journal entry reason for the hang.

Re: Problems With DVDMF.exe
I suspect the reason for the crash had to do with the formats of the video you inserted. Both are meant as display formats, and not really for editing (or conversion!) I suspect the .avi mp4, for example, is really DivX or XVid, which of course is a high quality but highly complex, compressed format. WMV similarly is a highly compressed and, if anything, even more complex format. And in effect, you are asking MF6 to convert these two different, highly complex formats into DVD-compatible mpeg-2 as part of another process -- burning a disk -- which is highly complex in its own right.
My suggestion would be to convert both the mp4 AVI and WMV files to DVD-compatible mpeg-2 BEFORE you insert them into MF 6 for burning. You could do this in a video editing program such as Video Studio, if you have one, or you could download and use a freeware converter such as SUPER which you can find at http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html See the photo below: IGNORE the link at the top of the page. It is to another converter program. Instead scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the link... Once you have the new mpeg-2 files, insert those into MF 6 and try again.

Re: Problems With DVDMF.exe
I suspected that may have been the case. I have a converter and will give it a try, thanks in advance for your time.
