Greetings,
I have a 16:9 video and when I select "save as still image", the resultant image is squeezed into 4:3 and doesnt look good. I cant see anything in preferences that allows me to adjust this. Can I tweak "save as still image" so it keeps the correct aspect ratio?
Thanks
David

Re: save as still image distorted
I found it. I have to use project instead of clip and select tools > save as still image.

Hi David
When you save an image in clip mode the image uses the video frame size.
When you save in project playback the image uses the project size and aspect ratio.
It produces an image as you see it in the preview screen.
For Pal the 16:9 image will be 1024 x 576, and that’s 16:9 ratio.
