Thats what I would like to know. Can the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5.6 save your movies to your PC, or is the only thing to do is to burn it to CDs? can anyone here answer since no one on internet seems to know ANYTHING about 5.6
And yes, I do know that Corel moves on as soon as a new product of theirs hits the market, but there are some of us who can't afford the new stuff. help me please!

AFAIK, it can *save* your final movies, but only in ISO image file format, or as a DVD folder... Both mimic a final DVD structure, but with various workarounds, can be played back directly on your PC... But nore that these files/folders are not the same as reducing a project to a -- say -- single DVD compliant mpeg-2.
To produce the ISO or DVD Folder, you go to the final page of the burning module/MF 5.6 and uncheck the box which would burn an actual disc, and tick one or both boxes which allow the *burning* instead of the ISO/DVD Folder. And if those options are not visible, then look over to the right hand side of the page, and if there is a double, downward-pointing arrow, and click it. Those options should then appear.

As far as I am aware, the information I provided above applies to all versions of Movie Factory... -- or at least from MF3, which was the first version I started using...
