Re: Impossible to make DVD nor video file any format
Welcome to the forums,
First go HERE read and provide the information so that we can help you. There's numerous reasons possible as to why DVD Factory is constantly crashing. One is that it is not that good of a program. Have you downloaded the free replacement, called DVD MovieFactory 7SE ? You might start there.
Also if you're using your project file (VSP) in DVD Factory 2010, try to first create a video file in VS X3 (Share>Create Video File>DVD...). Then launch DVD Factory 2010, and insert your newly created video file and proceed on.

Re: Impossible to make DVD nor video file any format
Is that a typo, or did you try to make both a DVD-compliant video file and a MPEG4 video file? I ask that because a DVD-compliant video file must be MPEG-2.Tried to make a video file - DVD, MPEG4

Re: Impossible to make DVD nor video file any format
Thank you all for the answers!
Source files properties:
Video: .m2ts 25 frs, .mpg (just one of all); size - very variable; taken with my Canon HF10 HD camcorder;
Audio: .mpa, .wav - some of them from Corel VS itself, others - from a CD;
Images: JPEG size 30 000 Kb, taken with my SONY Cyber-shot photocamera.
Project properties:
Output formats: I tried to make DVD disc and files, like DVD 16:9 og MPEG-4 - nothing worked;
System is PAL (I live in Norway)
No error codes.The program just dies.
I use DVD Factory Pro 2010 (not Movie Factory)

Re: Impossible to make DVD nor video file any format
I tried to create a file - both DVD PAL 16:9 and MPEG-4 - I never got further than first window in DVD FActory, ther it read "Go to meny creation" or something like that. After I press this button everything stops.Ron P. wrote:Welcome to the forums,

Hi
If you intend to burn a Standard DVD then you have to complete your project in X3 by Share Create video file – Pal-DVD
This creates a Mpeg 2 file which is the format used to burn a DVD.
Your original video file may be interlaced using Upper Field. If its progressive there is no problem.
Right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, if it indicates Upper Field then you should render your video to Mpeg2 also using Upper Field. To do this you can use the “custom “ option.
Now open DVD Movie Factory 7SE
Select to create DVD
Next
Add Video File adding the file created in X3.
Continue to create menu then Burn
