So Amazon/TigerDirect has VSX3 for $29.99 right now. The upgrade price from Corel is $49.99. Perhaps this means TigerDirect is trying to clear out inventory for a new version. So now I'm not sure whether to jump on it or not.

Re: VSX3 for $30
If you buy from Corel, and they come out with a new version within 30 days of your purchase, you could return X3 using Corel's 30-day Money Back Guarantee.
If you were to purchase from a retailer you would have to check their return policy.

The retailers around here have the policy regarding media on disc, if you open the package, it's not returnable. I guess they've had problems with people copying the disc, then returning for refunds. They might, allow you to exchange it for the same thing.
