WinDVD 9 Plus Blu With Sound - No Pic!?

WinDVD 9 Plus Blu With Sound - No Pic!?
Anyone know what could have caused my WinDVD player to lose picture (black screen) when playing regular DVD's, but keep the sound? Funny thing is, picture and sound is present on my Blueray movies, just not DVD's which is unfortunate because I was watching an old TV series on DVD. If anyone can help I'd be very greatful. I don't think it's a difficult problem, probably a bad driver, but I don't know enough to figure out which. Thanks in advance for any help.
