I installed ESD PAINTER PHOTO ESSENTIALS 4 that came with my PSP X2 a few days ago and since then the cataloger in PSP X2 has stopped working.
I uninstalled the PAINTER PHOTO ESSENTIALS 4 and that didn't help. I uninstalled and re-installed PSP X2; again didn't help.
Even tried to run the MSICleanup.exe that I used on an XP system a few months ago, but it won't work on Windows 7.
Any ideas?

Re: Cataloger has stopped working
Hello yukoner2,
Just to clarify can you tell me what version of Windows are you using when you experience the problem? Since PSP X2 is not compatible with Windows 7.

I am indeed using Windows 7 Pro.Abiel Corel NA wrote:Hello yukoner2,

Interesting you say that X2 is not compatible as it has worked fine until this incident and prior to purchasing the laptop with Windows 7 I went on the Corel website to ensure that PSP X2 would be compatible and it said, at that time, that it would be. (about a year ago now)
I am considering upgrading to X3, however missed the great deal from a couple of weeks ago as I was away

Cataloger doesn't work with X3 either
I downloaded PSP X3 and the cataloger doesn't work with it either. I am at a loss.
It is using the uncatalogued folders information that was input via PSP X2 so whatever the issue is, it is affecting both. I'd like to get this resolved so I can upgrade.
Windows 7 Pro, 64bit, 4 megs RAM, Core Duo processors at 2.13 GHz

I seem to have it working in PSP X3 now after uninstalling both X2 and X3, then following the registry edits in the sticky post about removing X3 manually. http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=38064yukoner2 wrote:I downloaded PSP X3 and the cataloger doesn't work with it either.
