Print Shop Photo 2010 and reinstall

Post by jake »

About 8-9 months ago, I down loaded the trial version of Print Shop Photo and Video Studio pro x3.
I took a look at the Print Shop once or twice. I was mainly interested in the video-editing program at that time. So after trying other programs over the months I purchased the video studio pro x3. I have tried to take a closer look at the trial version of Print Shop Photo 2010 but it was well out of the 30 day’s. Over the last few months I have uninstalled, reinstalled and have tried the Corel uninstall program and then reinstalled and still cannot get the trial to see a new 30day’s. Just getting 10 day’s would be fine. That is all I will need to evaluate the program to see if it will do what I want or not. Is there any way I can get a few days of trial out of this program? I hate to buy it and find out it does not do what I want…
Any help would be nice.

Welcome to the forums Jake, :)

You must mean Corel Paint Shop Photo, or PSPP for short, Printshop is another program from a competitor. Can you get just another 10 days of trial? Not legitimately. If you really want it badly, there is one way to get all the time you want. That way is to Reformat your system. That's right wipe you're hard drive completely clean, and reinstall your operating system. Then download the trial again, and have another 30 days look. However Corel does keep track of even the trial versions you download. So they may not allow you download or activate the same trial version again.

Now with that said, do you have any photo editing programs? Do you take digital still photos or have photos that you've scanned into your computer? This is probably the most important, would you use a powerful image editing program much? There's numerous free programs available now. Some like GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program ), Picasa, and PhotoScape are very powerful too.

PSPP is not tied to or any part of it integrated into VS, so if that is one thing you might be thinking, since it is also offered in a bundle with VS, nope it's not any part of VS.

Ok, just re-read your post, and you mention Paintshop Photo 2010 (Express), is another different program, which in my opinion like the other similar Digital Studio suite based applications, are not anywhere close to their counterparts. VS Express 2010, or DVD Factory 2010 stink on ice (speaking kindly) about them. If you have not downloaded and tried out Paintshop Pro Photo, that would be the one I would be looking at. Trust me the 2010 express version is not worth 30 days, and certainly not worth having to reformat my system.

You are right it is paint shop not print shop sorry.
As for the program I do not care so much about the editing portion I use other programs that will blow the sox off of it (if it had sox’s). I am looking at the calendar and photo book items in the program. I am using other programs for now. But they have issue of there own that I am trying to get around.
Any help would be nice if you could recommend any thing…
Thanks

As far as I know, the calendar, other misc projects which are part of the Paintshop Photo Project Creator application, is not part of PSP Express, it comes with PSPP X3. Something for you to look at is Corel Media One Plus. It's an outdated program, as the price will reflect, but it is the predecessor to COrel Paintshop Photo Project Creator. Since it is outdated, there is no trial version for it.

Hello jake,

If you have redownloading and expired the trial of a certain corel program you can no longer download and install that same trial program unless of course you purchase the full version or like what RON said reformat your computer. As for the PaintShop Photo Project Creator this is part of the PaintShop Photo Pro X3 and based on the Digital Studio Suite but you can always get the stand alone version which is the PaintShop Photo Express 2010.
