Chapter menu layout missing in burned DVD

Chapter menu layout missing in burned DVD
I have created a main menu and then created a chapter menu, then burned to a DVD. When I play the DVD on my DVD player connected to my TV, it will show the main menu, with an arrow, then it goes directly to the beginning of the video. When I play on the computer using Media Player, it again will show the main menu, and the chapter menu, but not with the chapter menu I created. How do I save the main menu and the chapter menu to the DVD to burn?
