it seems there were more 'album transitions' in previous versions. is there a way to download more album transitions?

No, the album transitions were posing problems, so they done the quick fix... removed them.

too bad, i liked them, there is only one on there and it is kind of weak. is there any better transitions between pictures?

Although only one is available it can be customised creating other “flip” directions
