Hi Tanoli

Nice to hear that you have managed to create the template.

Yes I have used youtube, there are a few videos most have been taken with a Panasonic TZ5 and converted using VS to a variety of formats.
I haven’t yet decided which produces the best quality.
I’m looking at quality, file size and render times, just trial and error I suppose.

If you view …you will soon notice that we are a little interested in wildlife.
The Stoats are quite cute and worth a viewing.

I have added a link to my profile.

I have visited your channel but it doesn't have much videos, I hope to see some more work from you there.
You know what, I am also fed-up of rendering process, it takes years to complete, Please also let me know when you come up with some solution.

Thanks again for all your support :)

I have explained how to do that using Movie Manager, so what’s your problem?

Tanoli

Nobody said that video editing was fast, Render times depends on your source clips and what you creating.
I have read the post again and cannot see any information regarding your original video files properties.
I do know what you are trying to create a file suitable for uploading to you tube. You have given no details of your source video file.

As a guess if your original files are DV-Avi then try converting to Avi-Mpeg4 compression may be relatively fast, whereas another option may take time.

Your pc plays a big part in render times, a slower pc will just take forever.

Apologies, I took that to be about you, now I understand.
We all get confused sometimes, a senior moment.

By the way do you have a youtube channel?

Hi Andrew,

I am here again to ask you one more thing. Is there a way we can cut video clip after inserting it in the video track?
Like in Adobe premiere we bring the video in the track and click a cut icon and select the start point and then the end point and it becomes a seperate piece. Can we do that in Video studio? Yes we can use the multi trim option but I want it directly in the video track by clicking start and end point.

I hope you have understood my point. :)

Regards,
Tanoli.

Hi

With the clip selected, navigate to the position you wish to cut.
Use the scissors (lower right of preview screen) to cut the clip.
Repeat for other cuts.

Deleting the unwanted section/frames

By the way my name is Trevor

The other adjacent icons also play a part in editing.
