Susan,

There should be a "FIT TO PAGE" option under the
preferences for printing.
Hope this helps,

Thank you erock1 for your replies (and everyone else that responded).
In the Publisher Pro software you can set your own margins and guides. The program does not have a already made template for DVD covers so I set the margins at 10.75 wide by 7.188 inches high (measurements I got from the internet while researching - I hope they are correct) which means it should be possible to print on an 8 1/2 x 11 glossy brochure paper. It also states that the front and back covers are each 5.094 inches and 0.563 for the spine (which would mean the first margin at 0, guides at 5.094 and 5.657 and the other margin at 10.751 (if I did the calculations correct).
I have an HP Photosmart P1000 and the Epson R200 printers. I don't think the HP supports borderless printing, but I think the Epson R200 does. I just found the setting last night, but didn't get a chance to print a cover to test it.
erock1, do my measurements sound correct? What measurements do you use?
I will try printing one tonight. If it's only a matter of check-boxing the borderless print box in the print properties box, I hope it works.

Hi
I don't know what that is, sorry. I just see DVD casing insert.
Are those a special format? I can't help you.
I only posted because you were asking about dimensions.
With Nero, all (CD, DVD, disk, box, leaflet etc) dimensions are independant of the chosen label type, only the positionning and margins change when you select label brand.
Aramay is not specifically mentioned, but DVD box insert definitely is presented on A4 or Letter standard stock when you chose Plain paper, so it must fit...Landscape direction of course.

sorry for the delayed response. Amaray boxes use an insert that is 7.187″ by 10.787″. So your template size seems OK. But this poses a problem for 8.5″ x 11″ photo paper. Although the layout should fit on this paper, inkjet printers have about a ¼″ margin of unprintable area all the way around and sometimes a ½″ margin on one edge. Part of the image sometimes gets cut off. This is the reason special DVD insert paper should be used. I know a few folks that use special light stick tape to add length. They set their paper size for legal, 8 1/2 X 14, landscape and use a 1/4" left hand margin. Sometimes it works OK, but when it doesn't the tape comes off and messes up their printer.
Why not make the added investment which is inexpensive and get DVD insert paper. Here's a good web site to make your purchase, it's Neato. Just click on the DVD case/Inserts http://www.neato.com
Let me know how it goes. BTW, just call me Erock
