Please bear with me, this is my first pot on the forums.
I am using Videostudio 12 and have run into a problem when i try to import *.mp4 clips into the library, and for some reason these clips are being cut to 1 or 2 seconds long.
Does anybody know what is going on??
How i imported them was:
Clicked "load video" right above the library box selected the videos i wanted to put in, and then imported them
Does it make a difference that i imported multiple files at once?
Properties of the videos:
Video type: H.264 Main Profile video
total frames:317
Attributes:24 bits, 1280x720, 16:9
frame rate: 59.94 fps
Data rate:16000 kbps

Re: Videos being shortened?
Welcome to the forums!
I am afraid, though, that we will need some further information before anyone could offer any sensible advice.
Most particularly, we need to know where the video comes from original: make and model of camera or capture device. Could you also describe exactly how you are importing the files into Video Studio. And could you right click on one of the files inside Video Studio, please -- either in the timeline or Library window -- and copy ALL its Properties here... Then we will have a better idea of what we are dealing with.

Re: Videos being shortened?
I think Ken commented on this within the last day or so. Basically VS does not recognize the 60fps video files. What is happening is that VS is cutting in half your 59.94fps video frame rate. So it thinks that the frame rate is around 30fps, which in turn decreases the duration of the clips.
