video size reduction problem

when I import video and burn after editing, it does not fit in screen (video size is reduced about %25 and when I watch it on DVD player, there is black area around the video and I can not watch it in whole screen) How can I solve this problem.

is that on telly only, or is it already so in the VS preview window?

Except for the "keep aspect/fit to project" setting for stills only I don't see the reason,
for video neither, except if you played with "distort clip" or use overlays, they usually default to about half size when inserted (resizable)
