video studio installation problem

I have reinstalled a computer for one of my custommers and since
he can not instal video studio annymore.

when I try too install the software the setup is loaded normaly but as soon as the setup starts to the installation process the system reboots :S
I have this problem with video studio 7 and 8

it is a windows XP home installation with SP2.
