Service Pack 3 that was released on December 4, hangs my installation of VideoStudio X3. On some projects the sound is gone. I reinstalled VideoStudio X3 without Service Pack 3 and everything was back to normal.

Same here. ALL SOUND IS GONE after patch 3, but some of the choppiness reported in an earlier thread is much better.

Hello All,

I've got a feedback about this issue and our Tech Support also have a number of similar reports and this was already escalated to our QA Team and is currently being investigated. I'll update this post as soon as I got more information.

Change the file extension from MP4 to MOV

PLEASE NOTE: This is an issue with MP4A: MPEG-4 AAC LC audio codec, you will still have issues rendering as MP4 but you can render in HD using MOV and custom file settings.
