white "blooming"
I am recording children dancing in white costumes against a black backdrop. I am using a Canon DC220 camera. I am getting what I can only describe as a white blooming. The white parts of their costumes seem to be blurry and indistinct. I am using pro x2. Is there something with pro x2 that I might do when I edit that could reduce or eliminate this problem? Thank you.

White, "wash-out" is one of the most difficult to correct. About the only thing you can do is experiment with the Gamma, Contrast, and Saturation settings in the Color Correction.
